Expense Budget
A spending cap per category and period — soft (warning) or hard (blocked).
An expense budget sets how much can be spent in a category over a period. A soft budget warns and flags a claim for extra scrutiny; a hard budget blocks claims that would exceed it. Either way, finance keeps control without slowing people down.
