No — ESS is mobile-first and PWA-ready, working in any browser. They can add it to their home screen if they like.

When do payslips appear in self-service?

The moment a payroll run is approved, each employee's branded payslip — with correct year-to-date — is available to view and download.

Can employees request loans or a salary advance?

Yes — staff apply in self-service and track the approval and repayment balance; recovery happens automatically through payroll.

Can staff clock in and out?

Where attendance is enabled, employees clock in and out from ESS, with optional geofencing to confirm they're at an approved work site.

Can employees give feedback anonymously?

Yes — feedback can be anonymous, with a private follow-up thread so HR can respond without ever seeing a name. There's also peer recognition tied to your company values.

Can employees see other people's data?

No — access is permission-scoped to the individual; everyone sees only their own.

How are profile edits controlled?
