Retro arrears
Back pay owed when a pay change is dated into a period already paid.
Retro arrears are the back pay owed when a pay rise is agreed late and dated into a period that has already been paid. In Vintage People a base pay change dated into a closed period proposes a salary arrears pay item for the difference. It waits as To approve and is paid only after a payroll user approves it, so nothing is paid back without a check.
