Original and revised budget
Original is the budget as first published; Revised is the budget after approved changes.
The Original budget is the amount approved and published at the start of the year. The Revised budget starts equal to it and moves only when a budget revision or transfer is approved. Keeping both shows how far the plan has moved, and why. In Vintage People Original is locked the moment a line is published and never changes, and every change to Revised is kept in the revisions log.
