Connect Zoho Books
Sign in, pick the Books organisation, map, choose the mode, switch on.
The Zoho Books connector posts approved payroll and spend to your ledger as journals, so Finance does not re-key them. You can also export the same journals as files in the Zoho Books manual journal import layout.
Connect. Open Settings, Integrations and choose Connect on Zoho Books. You need to be a super admin, and you enter a fresh code from your authenticator app. Sign in at Zoho and accept the permissions it asks for. You come back to a draft connection, which sends nothing. Pick the Books organisation to post into and click Test.
Map. On the Mapping tab, match your GL codes, control accounts, banks, departments and locations to Books. Auto-match fills the clear cases and never overwrites a mapping you set. Posting never skips a missing mapping: the item stops and names exactly what to map.
Choose the mode. On the Mode tab, pick off, real time, daily or month-end, and a start date; nothing dated before it is ever sent. Real time posts each document, daily posts one summary journal per day, and month-end holds everything until the month is closed, then posts one summary. You also choose how the payroll journal is split and dated.
Switch on and watch. Switch on with a fresh authenticator code. Approved payroll, paid expense claims and cash advances are then posted. Health shows anything stuck, Log lets you replay an item after you fix its cause, and Reconcile compares a period's documents with the journals in Books.
