Webhook
A message an application sends to your system the moment something happens.
A webhook is an HTTP message an application sends to an address you choose when an event happens, such as a new employee being created, so your system can react at once instead of checking again and again. In Vintage People webhooks go to HTTPS addresses only, each delivery is signed with HMAC-SHA256 so you can confirm where it came from, and failed deliveries are retried.
