Unit-paid employee (hourly, daily, piece rate)
Someone paid per hour, per day or per piece rather than a fixed salary.
A unit-paid employee earns a rate per unit of work instead of a fixed monthly salary: per hour, per day worked or per piece produced. Their pay is the approved units multiplied by the rate. In Vintage People the pay type and rate sit on the employee's record, with every change kept in history, and the units are entered or imported under Worked hours before the run.
